I am a Washington-based public affairs practitioner with more than twenty years' experience developing and executing multidisciplinary communication plans, providing crisis-related counsel and engaging a broad range of traditional and new media in order to influence both policymakers and the public.
Today, I run my own firm, assisting clients that have included the Department of Defense, a leading Wall Street law firm, a 100-year-old trade association and a management consulting firm.
Prior to launching my own company, I served four years as a Managing Director at FTI Consulting, where I counseled some of the largest names in finance, telecommunications, energy and the non-profit sector.
I've also spent nearly a decade in the world of trade associations, first as a Vice President and spokesperson for CTIA - the Wireless Association. Later, I transitioned to the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), which the Wall Street Journal recognized as, "Wall Street's leading trade group." There, I achieved the rank of Managing Director.
But it all started with a stint in presidential politics, spending months at a time out on the road, crisscrossing the nation, with the candidate and national media.
I am a graduate of Georgetown University with a focus in government and international relations.
