After eighteen years in the desert of Arizona, I made for school in the east, fascinated with international relations and domestic politics.

Like many in D.C., I built a career near the intersection of business and government. I’ve consulted for some of America's leading non-profits, for Fortune 500 companies and also for their corporate cousins, the Not-Quite-As-Fortunate Next 5000. Drafting documents. Shaping public perception. Managing crises.

And then I re-discovered creative writing.

First, a friend and I placed third in Page's TV comedy category. It was my first attempt at scribbling for the screen and just enough encouragement to be dangerous. Not long after, I stumbled across another friend who told me about her grandmother. Fascinated by grandma's life story, I optioned her autobiography and designed my own self-funded, self-taught, full-time, crash-course in the art of screenwriting.

These four film scripts  are the result.

Today I split my time between consulting and the dark art of creative writing.

When I'm not at the laptop, you can find me face down in the nearest body of water, swimming laps, or by the nearest TV, watching Georgetown basketball and drinking bourbon.
